The Wicker Park Neighorhood Association is hosting a Mulch Day on Saturday, April 24th, 2010.

MULCHING IS a Greening Effort

- The Mulch degrades throughout the year and creates great soil for the trees, as well as provides a good surface to trap the water for the tree.  THESE porous areas keeps the water where it falls and out of the city gutters. So plan on attending an help beautify the community.

1. Wear closed toed shoes.

2. Clothes you can get dirty

3. Bring Gloves

Winter Wonderland

Play for Peace Article in Hoy Magazine

Read the article written on Hoy Magazine on Clemente's Play for Peace Club. The club, sponserd by Mr Paye, is an ongoing service learning project open to all students.  The club meets every Tuesday after school in room 708 (The Gear-Up Room).

Congratulations to the Clemente Boys Bowling Team and to their coaches, Mr Irizarry and Ms Rum! They captured the citywide title yesterday, January 27. One of the team members, Aivan Rosa, went on to the State competition with Coach Irizarry today. He also played an almost perfect game last week at Mather.
